Born in Brazil.
After finishing Medical School in Brazil, came to the United States for her postgraduate training in Pathology -” a combination of science and visual arts” – according to Regina.
She has been in Houston since 1976 and works at the University of Texas Medical School, in the Department of Pathology..
Started her (art) career with watercolors about 15 years ago. But, currently, uses watercolor and acrylics as mediums.
Her style goes from realistic to expressionist. Often, her paintings express images seen through microscope lens.
